What is hidden beneath the appearance? That is the main idea through all the pieces. People see the world directly from the appearance, but those could be nothing about the truth. Incredible meanings could always be hidden beneath those normal things in our daily life. Based on the idea from Chinese Taoism of Yin and Yang, negative and positive things always exist at the same time, combine and conflict with each other. Both of them are necessary, and the complexity and mystery are the most attractive parts of the world.

I depict flowers a lot because they are not only beautiful, but also symbols of lots of different things and meanings. They have flower languages, and every one of them is distinguished and unique. They appear everywhere around mortals, together with particular things hidden beneath their beauty.
